EasyShare

EasyShare is an easy way transfer your ZIPs or any file to another PC running iTuneZIP.LibZIP.
REQUIREMENTS: if you are using a firewall, port 21 must be opened up for both the sending and receiving PC. iTuneZIPLibZIP has an embedded FTP Server and FTP Client which uses the standard FTP port 21.

To use:
  1. Use iTuneZIPLibZIP to ZIP your desired tracks, e.g. songs, videos, a playlist etc...
  2. Start iTuneZIPLibZIP on the other PC you want to transfer the ZIP to.
  3. After iTuneZIPLibZIP is started on the other machine, use the Easy Share menu to share the last ZIP or another ZIP or file.
  4. If you are sharing another ZIP or file, you will be prompted to select the ZIP or file.
  5. Next you will be prompted to enter the sharing name for the PC you are sending the file to. The sharing name is the ip address or host name and is displayed in the bottom left-hand corner of iTuneZIP.LibZIP.
  6. If the entered ip address or host is invalid or can not be connected to an error will be displayed with instructions.
  7. Once the transfer starts a status window is displayed showing the status of the transfer. An upload iconEasy Share - TuneZip Help Wikiis displayed in the lower left-hand portion of the window. Also on the other machine a download icon Easy Share - TuneZip Help Wikiwill appear in the bottom left-hand corner of the window as well as the file being received.

Options:
  • Ask before receive file - this applies to receiving a file. If selected and a file is being sent, a prompt window will be displayed indicting the file transfer request and if you want to continue. if you want all your transfers to be received silently without intervention or having to go to another machine to say 'YES', then select this option.
  • Replace existing files - this applies to receiving a file. If selected, an existing file will automatically be replaced. If not selected, a prompt window will be displayed asking you if you want to replace the file.
  • Show transfer folder - this applied to receiving a file. If selected, after a file has been received the file transfer folder will automatically be opened to show the file transferred.
